How to book your session.
To book your session please contact me at littlejohnphoto@me.com at least 4-6 weeks prior to the date you are looking for, and even earlier for weekends as they book quickly.

When to book your newborn session.
The best time to photograph a newborn baby is when they are under two weeks of age, while they are still sleepy, squishy and curl easily. It’s best to wait until your babies umbilical clip has come off (usually day 3-5). Ideally we will book your newborn session date prior to baby’s arrival. This will be a tentative date for you and once baby arrives, or if you are overdue, we can book a more suitable date.

Where your session is held.
Newborn sessions will be at my studio in Lakefield, ON. Maternity, family and other sessions can be held at my studio or at an outdoor location of your choice or of my choosing (depending on the time of year). Outdoor sessions are best done in the early evening for that ‘golden light’.

How long will your session take.
Newborn sessions can take 3-4 hours, allowing enough time for feeding and cuddles as needed. All other sessions will depend on what/where we are photographing but a typical family session is about 1.5 hours.

What to Wear (family session)
Always the biggest question!! I find the easiest way to put together your family’s attire is to think of everyone’s clothing as part of one large outfit. You want the pieces to blend together and/or compliment each other…not compete. You wouldn’t wear two different kind of plaids or bold patterns and you wouldn’t want colours clashing. You also don’t want everyone matching like a uniform (e.g.: everyone in the exact same colour). I like to avoid having everyone in all white or all black as it tends to be ‘too much’ when grouped together. We want the attention on the beautiful faces in your images, not the clothing, so simple solid colours work best. Casual is great, and jeans photograph very nicely. Wear what makes you feel good too! I am happy to answer any ‘wardrobe’ questions you may have before your family session….just shoot me an email.
For newborn and maternity sessions, I can send you info prior to your session….don’t worry, you won’t need much:)

Proofs and online gallery.
About 2-3 weeks after your session, I will email you with a password for your private online gallery. The online gallery will remain active for 7 days and you are welcome to share the gallery with family and friends. Orders for prints and products can be placed online and once full payment is received your prints will be ordered; they can take 2-3 weeks for delivery and longer for canvas, books, albums and custom collages. Digital images may be purchased and also come complimentary with certain purchase amounts, beginning at $600.

All images are copyrighted by Rebekah Littlejohn Photography, even those you purchase. Copying, scanning or reproducing images is strictly prohibited. Print-screening images from this website is also against the law. Prices are subject to change without notice and are non-negotiable. Prices are guaranteed for 30 days after your session. Due to the custom nature of photographic products, no refunds will be issued. By hiring Rebekah Littlejohn Photography, you agree to these terms.
