I had this beautiful family’s session scheduled for early Aug., but Mother Nature had different ideas that day and sent a HUGE downpour. It turns out, she knew exactly what she was doing because the day of our rescheduled session couldn’t have been more ideal. Sunny, with those wonderful wispy clouds that I love so much for portraits, warm, but not hot. The kids were fantastic (and the adults too:), and it all came together beautifully. The little guy in the ‘sitting down’ family shot got up right after the portrait was taken and said ‘now that’s front page material’. Cracked me right up.

I have been away for a couple of weeks, driving down to New Brunswick and getting our daughter settled into University (pics from our trip coming soon). I still can’t believe that she is in University already. When you’re raising kids, you’ll hear it a hundred times from those who have gone down the path before you…..’enjoy them, they grow up so fast’. Well, now that I am a little further down that path myself, I know that each and every one of them was right. It goes soooo fast. I have learned to hug my guys a little more often and just a little tighter (oh, they just loovve that!), and enjoy the little moments together, while they last.
